Export your evidence from Vanta
Go to Vanta > Evidence > Export. Download your evidence list as CSV. Save all evidence files to a local folder.
Export your vendor list
Go to Vanta > Vendors. Export your third-party vendor inventory — you will re-use this for your AI vendor risk module in Aegis Firma.
Create your Aegis Firma account
Sign up at aegisfirma.com. Complete the 5-step onboarding wizard — it takes under 10 minutes. Select your jurisdictions (EU AI Act, US state, GDPR, etc.).
Run the browser extension scan
Install the free Aegis Firma browser extension. It automatically discovers every AI tool your team uses and populates your AI inventory — no manual entry needed.
Upload your evidence files
Go to Aegis Firma > Evidence. Upload your evidence files from step 1. Categories map directly: Policy Documents, Audit Reports, Training Records, System Config.
Re-create your vendor entries
Go to Vendors. Add your AI vendors from the exported list. Aegis Firma auto-scores vendor risk and alerts you when contract reviews are due.
Generate your required documents
Go to Documents. Click Generate for: AI Acceptable Use Policy, Risk Assessment, Privacy Policy Addendum, EU AI Act Transparency Notices. All populate from your onboarding data.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I lose my SOC 2 readiness work?
Aegis Firma does not cover SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certifications. If you need those certifications, keep Vanta for certification work and use Aegis Firma alongside it for AI regulatory compliance — the $79/month addition is affordable. If you do not need a certification, Aegis Firma covers all AI regulatory requirements.
Can I export my Vanta data?
Yes. Vanta allows exporting evidence lists as CSV and individual evidence files. Your control checklist can be exported as a reference. Vendor data can be exported from the Vendors section. All of this imports into Aegis Firma.
How long does migration take?
