- To your local downloads folder. The connect-src:none CSP makes server upload impossible — including to our infrastructure. Annotations and blur happen in-browser before save.
- How does OCR work without a server?
- Tesseract WASM runs inside the browser. The first OCR pass downloads the language model (~10MB) and caches it; subsequent runs work fully offline.
- Why include redact and blur for free?
- Screenshots are sensitive — emails, dashboards, partial faces. Charging for the privacy tools that make a screenshot safe to share felt wrong. Pro unlocks the speed-and-volume features (full page, history, storage) instead.
